Sometimes I just want to be a little girl again, and have them take care of me...instead of the reverse. Glad you're getting a chance to go out and visit your dad soon. Just got myself caught up on all your posts and thoroughly enjoyed the read. Love your photos of the flowers - I adore lilacs as it reminds me of when I was in 2nd grade and would walk by a house that had a huge lilac bush that hung over the fence onto the sidewalk. I'd always stop there and smell the flowers and it made me feel so good for the rest of the day. I've never seen yellow violets, before, though. Or maybe it was the one next to it. I couldn't decide. So I have them both in the picture. You are so funny!

To everyone, I'm so glad I could share these simple things with you. It's just not right.
I totally understand your wanting to be with your father. When my hubby was in the military and we were living in other states, my mother became very ill and had to go in for a surgery. My heart broke. I wanted to be there so badly. I didn't trust my brothers and father to take care of her the same way I would. It took lots of prayers and a last minute plane ticket 1 week after her surgery to get me through. My prayers are with you and you precious papa.Shimmy Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05161810615900981695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296284051502496327.post-79255378909820380062008-04-24T09:24:00.000-04:002008-04-24T09:24:00.000-04:00May the time with your father be sweet in every wa...May the time with your father be sweet in every way.Treasia Stepphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10126382668167560512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4296284051502496327.post-12221927590389300852008-04-24T09:06:00.000-04:002008-04-24T09:06:00.000-04:00Forgot to add...I JUST ADORE GEORGE!
