Simple Woman’s Daybook, Monday, March 9

For Today 

Outside my window it’s grey. But the glass is clear.
I am thinking that I worked really hard today cleaning that one window.
I am thankful for having this place to hole up in.
From the kitchen all is quiet. But dinner will begin happening soon.
I am wearing black sweatpants, Chico’s white t-shirt, long-sleeve white shirt and fluffy white socks.
I am creating some photos in Photoshop at the moment.
I am going to start dinner really soon. I promise.
I am reading a Rolling Stone magazine, the one with Bruce Springsteen on the cover.
I am hoping that our DirecTV HD box comes on Tuesday like they said it would. Ours broke today and my husband really misses the TV. I think I may, as well.
I am hearing cars on the road way down at the bottom of the hill. Earlier we heard the song of the ice cream truck in the development next door.
Around the house it’s looking a little cleaner. But those windows are really a bugger to do.
One of my favorite things is crystal clear windows.
A few plans for the rest of the week include a funeral for my friends’ father.
