Hi, I’m Kate’s sister, Char (Another Sister) and I’m writing this post for her. My first real blog! Kate wanted me to tell her dear readers not to worry. Three days after her gall bladder surgery, she started experiencing some pretty bad pain. An ambulance ride and interminable wait in the ER led to a procedure to put her on the road to recovery. She is feeling much better, is home from the hospital and will be posting again in no time. Until soon her friends, Another sister
Thanks so much for the update. Oh, Kate. I am so sorry there was a complication. Still thinking and praying for you.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the update!!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better today!
Geez, Kate, I've been away from the 'puter for so long I didn't even know you were having gall bladder surgery. I had it done when I was only 21 and trust me, it was almost like being butchered back then. BIG scar from below belly button to under the boobs! It took more than a week to recover then. Sounds like you're doing okay now, though. Looking forward to coming back to visit more often now. Hugs! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the up date sister Char.
ReplyDeleteYour sis is special to a lot of us out here and we do appreciate you giving us this note. We are all still praying for you, Kate. Get better soon.
Helen
Hi Kate...I admire your blog from afar. And, I admire Mary's! Her blog sent me over here to wish you quick and solid recovery wishes!! My prayers are with you!
ReplyDeleteHope she is doing better, I know I was warned after my gallbladder surgery that I might become jaundice and require an endoscopy to remove a stone that could have possibly fallen out as they removed the gallbladder. Hope that didn't happen! Ugh. Take it easy Kate.
ReplyDeleteI just don't get why we have these damn gallbladders if we can just take them out and toss them, what's the point! Not to mention you are sent home several hours after removing an organ. Nice.
Prayers for healing & sound health.
ReplyDeleteDo not worry - The first step towards health. God is present always. I pray for you.
Hope you are feeling much better. Take it easy and enjoy the pampering!
ReplyDeleteI wuz wondering where you bin. Praying all is much better by now Kate - and thanks for the update Char!
ReplyDeleteKate, I am so sorry that you are not feeling well, but hopefully you are getting better and stronger with each passing day! Hope George is giving you lots of kisses! Prayers are being lifted up for you! Jeanne
