In just a couple of days, I’m heading to Virginia to the home of Janice, who’s hosting the 2nd annual get-together of a little something she and her readers dubbed ‘Blog Fest’.
After spending four days last July in beautiful Mathews County -- laughing and getting to know fellow bloggers from so many different parts of the country, we all hoped that we could make it an annual gathering.
In preparation for this year’s trip, I’ve been looking over photos I took last summer and remembering some of the good times.
So, in no particular order, here are just a few of the things that made me smile when I think of last year’s Blog Fest:
The rich history of the area.
The New Point Comfort Lighthouse.
Water everywhere.
Colorful characters.
Camaraderie. And cool hats.
Meeting new friends.
Laughter.
The Sea Shanty.
I can’t wait! Tomorrow (Wednesday) is my last day at work until next Monday. Woot!
Love,
Looks like a blast! have fun!

ReplyDeleteEveryone is invited, regardless of whether or not they have a blog. I wasn't sure whether or not to hype it up on my blog this year, so kept quiet until now. Here's the info:
