  4. I'm especially drawn to the Trees in the Mist and Singing for his Supper. Something about the ability of the shots to stand without vibrant color really speaks to me. Thanks for sharing the talent!

  15. I'm a lurker of your blog, but I just had to come out of hiding when I saw your wonderful giveaway. We just moved into a log home on 20 acres living amongst the Amish and Mennonites in Southwest Wisconsin. Right away I fell in love with the "Heading Home" and the "Cardinal during snowstorm" reminds me of Illinois where we moved from. Both will fit wonderfully in our new home.

  18. You make deciding so very hard 'cause all of your photos are blue ribbon winners! But if I must choose, I choose Great Egret.
We live amongst lakes and there are great white egrets all around the lakes. They are so majestic and pure, and you have captured their essence in this photograph.
Thanks, Kate, for sharing and for offering us the chance to own one of them. If I win, that'll make two that I own...purchased my first one and love it.
    Hugs, Jeanne

  69. I love your work...but I've told you that a million times. (One more time won't hurt! :D)
Dragonfly is amazing...I also really like Singular. Sometimes I'm driving and see one tree in a field and think how beautiful it is and what a special photo that would be. You have captured that for me.

    GREAT giveaway, thanks!

  70. First one I would choose is " Singular". I was an only child raised in a rural setting by my Grandparents. This not only reminds me that being alone isn't a bad thing, but, also that from where I'm from is/or was nothing to ever be ashamed of.

second choice was Daisy in texture. Not only is this beautiful, but it also inspired me to go out and photograph a number of other flowers that were similar. The texture part reminds me that you can always add to what you might think is beautiful and others will admire it even more.

Because I live on the (opposite) coast and know his "kin" well and because he simply cracks me up, I have to choose the seagull...but the softness and beautiful folds of the morning glory, pulls on me too.
