The fog comes on little cat feet

There’s a steady rain and every now and then, I can hear the low, soft rumble of thunder. George is next to where I sit, in something akin to a hidey-hole. The rain came down all last night, but surprisingly we haven’t had a drop all day until now.

The dawn brought thick fog and I was able to get these shots of tiny raindrops on the pansies when I took my morning walk.

I used one of Jerry Jones’ bokeh textures on most of them, but only slightly.

It was a quiet, peaceful morning. In fact, it felt more like April around here than May.

The deluge of the night before has left this buttercup hanging its head. One of the textures I used on this is a new one from Kim Klassen called ‘pour vous’. Get on her mailing list to acquire free weekly textures.

  27. Pretty photos today. I always love dewdrops on flower petals.

Wondering if you take more than one lens with you when you go for a walk, or do you just take one with an idea in mind of what you are going to photograph along the way?
