Au revoir for now

It’s late Friday afternoon and it’s been an absolutely hellish roller coaster of a day. A day in which I planned to spend a leisurely afternoon packing my bags for a trip to one of my favorite places in this country.

Anyone who is a regular reader of this blog knows that both my husband and I love the coast of Maine. And George, our faithful border collie, was actually born there. Our son will stay here and guard the old manor house on the hill while we’re away. I don’t have internet access where we’ll be staying, so this may be the last post you see on this blog for about a week.

Hope your weekend and your week to come is a good one. I’ll be sure to take plenty of photos to share with you when I return.

Please know that I plan on taking supplements of this daily:

BTW, you may miss tomorrow's post. Wanted you & George to know that Miss Kitty passed yesterday. . . . .

  20. I was in Maine in 1975 after a school friend moved to New Hampshire and I went to visit her. They took me to Vermont too. What stunning places. I have never forgotten them. Have a fantastic time and I'll look forward to reading all about it.
