Otter Creek, Maine vacation rental available June 22-29, close to Bar Harbor

I have had to cancel our trip to Maine for later this month because it’s just too risky to travel with my husband at this stage. So our sweet little cottage rental is up for grabs.

We had rented the same cottage last year and you can read the review I wrote about it here:

Review: Summerwood Cottage, Maine

The price is $795 for the week. The cottage sleeps two and is situated on Walls Street in the village of Otter Creek, about 4 miles outside of the town of Bar Harbor. Seal Harbor is in the other direction and beautiful Acadia National Park is nearby. A little beach at Otter Creek Causeway is less than a mile away. Acadia is one of the nation’s most beautiful parks, where you can find mountains right next to the sea.

(If you visit the link above and see that the date June 22-29 is still rented, please e-mail the agent. It all happened so quickly that she may not have had time to adjust the listing).

Highly recommend.

I will write more later. All is quiet here so no worries.

  6. Oh how disappointing. You should plan a totally cool stay-cation for the two of you. Somewhere really close to home. That could be fun too!

  25. What a great cottage! It’s really an advantage to have a place to stay in when going on a vacation. It’s just disappointing that you had to cancel your vacation. But who knows, you might pursue your vacation this year.
