I haven’t had a lot of words lately; don’t know why. School ended yesterday and, when summer hours begin, this will free up some of my time. Although I’ve been really busy, I haven’t stopped taking pictures, and I’ve had these images sitting in this draft for a couple of weeks. I added the words just now from a quote I found.

Here’s to summertime ~

  3. Happy Summer, Kate! These are beautiful birds and you've captured them just perfectly. I just hung a bird feeder neat my patio and I am enjoying the heck out of watching their antics! It's awe inspiring sometimes as well.

    All my best,

  8. Hey friend! Thanks for sharing, as always. Those words are very poignant somehow.... I will reflect on them as I drift off to sleep to see why they touched a place in my soul.
Here's to sunny days and cool breezes (although the latter is unlikely in my neck of the woods.)

  23. I'm kind of at that place too, with the lack of words. After 8 years of blogging I'm afraid I've hit a wall and that does not make me happy.

And tree swallows! We used to have them nest here every year, until outdoor kitty came along... and I miss them, they are such funny, vivacious birds.

Thanks for a the glimpse of them.
