If the sign fits, park there

Ok, people. Raise your hand if you need to park at Tubby Cove.

I think I could park there for several weeks after all the holiday consumption that's been going on lately.

I also found a new site that's not helping with the tubby situation.

I warn you, though, please don't go there.

There are treats galore.

It's called Bakerella. And I want to make cookies like this. I truly do.

Unfortunately, if I begin making lots of cookies, I'll be parked in Tubby Cove for quite some time.

For those who are into the photography thing, I used my Photoshop program with Pioneer Woman's "Seventies" action on these two photos and I really like how pink the sky looks.

Ok. I'm off to take another walk, or I'll be changing the name of my site to something like The Sisterhood of the Tubby Pants or maybe I'm Not Fat, I'm Fluffy.

Oh, my.

Until tomorrow, my friends . . .

  1. I feel sure there were calories just from looking at those cookies you linked us to! Dear brother gave me what feels like a 10 lb. box of peppermint bark - my all time favorite. You'll see my black SUV at Tubby Park and I'll be stuck behind the wheel!

  2. Oh yeah! Tubby Cove is where I belong after this past couple of weeks. I have long loved Bakerella. Isn't it a fantastic site? I just got a little sweet ipod to use while exercising. Hope that keeps me motivated.

  4. I like the " I'm not fat, I'm fluffy" line, goes with my fluffy sheep. Unfortunately though, my sheep have an excuse to be fluffy, they ARE fluffy and they are pregnant, neither excuse works for me!Just eating too many yummies this Christmas season!

  5. Oh, didn't you get the memo that all food consumed from December 1 to January 1 is calorie free?

    That sign is priceless.

  6. I'm fluffy because I'm still trying to work off my pregnancy weight gain...32 years later. That's my excuse, and I'm stickin' to it. Just point me in the direction of Tubby Cove.

  11. Fat, who's fat. I am classified as a chubette. Sounds better, right? That is why I am prone to summer. Tan fat looks better than white fat. Need to go and check out all they links on today's post. Will you walk for me? Happy Trails!

  12. We live near Lookout Mtn. and Rock City. They have a trail that has a walk between huge rocks named Fat Man Squeeze which I am thinking that I might have a hard time going through.

  17. Oh my! I think I need to stay away from that site!!! Not only has the holiday food padded my once little body, but recuperating from an appendectomy has rendered me lazy and unable to do anything about my nicely expanded midsection. Tubby Cove here I come!!! ROFLOL!!!

  18. I think you have a long way to go before you get to Tubby anything .. I refuse to look at the cookies, no I am not looking .. because I am just finishing Cookie Detox ...

  19. Oh My Lord...you are too funny. The pics do look great with that action. We took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and hiked at Rocks State Park yesterday. A little walk and some fresh air did the trick!

  20. Yep, I am DETERMINED to lose all the fudge off my hips... I believe I said that last January too. Now I have two Christmases of fudge to work off! Someone gave me sugar-free Russell Stover... maybe that can be a segway to a sugar-free life. Ya think?

  24. I just went over to the action pack and I'm always blown away over there and that they do it all to educate others and for free. Mind startling, really.

(Just baking cookies. Why? WHY? Why do I do this to myself? 'cause the kids will love them, right? Then why do I eat half the dough?)
