A few things I love

Every once in awhile, I enjoy extolling the virtues of some of the things that I use on a daily basis and/or just happen to love.

And today is one of those days.

I love

My camera strap

One of the questions I am asked the most by readers is where I acquired my camera strap. I got this particular one on an etsy site back in early 2008. Unfortunately, the seller (Em Faconbridge) took a long break and her beautiful camera straps disappeared. I then began directing readers to Boneca Linda, another quality vendor on etsy.

I’m happy to see that Em Falconbridge has returned and is again offering her beautiful camera straps for sale, among other items.

Moroccan Oil

DSC_0273 copy 2

Moroccan Oil is a treatment for hair that is one of the only things that calms my crazy curly-haired frizz. I love this stuff and when my local salon and others in the area weren’t able to get it any more, I tried a replacement that was less expensive. But nothing works like Moroccan Oil, which is now available at Amazon.com.

Nirvana. My hair is sighing.

Hope in a Jar

HopeInaJar

Philosophy’s original formula moisturizer for all skin types, Hope in a Jar is the best in my book. I’ve tried more moisturizers over the past 25 years that I care to count, and this one beats them all.

Plus, I love the name.

Squiggles on pumpkins

Not everything I love costs money. Squiggles on pumpkins are free. And I love ‘em.

  12. I am search of a camera strap -want one long enough to "sling" over my shoulder I can not stand to wear my camera on my neck - and bag right now. Checked Em's - love her - but think I want something less exotic looking, and more whimsical. I can not settle on a bag at all! Epiphanie are pretty and have room for some other things, but the straps aren't long enough for me.

  38. Wow... that IS freaky. I have pics on my camera of Moroccan oil to do a Favourite Things post. Seriously. My hair is possibly the opposite of yours, straight as a die, but I love the sheen it gives.

Now that I am an Etsy shop owner, I shall have to check out the camera strap place - yours is gorgeous!
