More adventures making another YouTube video

In yesterday’s post, I mentioned that I had goals for the weekend. The biggest one was to sort out and get clothes ready for school, plus buy some new, which ended up being necessary. But it was a good shopping day that began with going to DSW for a pair of shoes, which I found on the sale rack, and ended up with me getting everything I needed, with most of it on sale.

Another goal was to make a video with some of my photos from Maine and since it was raining off and on all afternoon, I finally worked on that and got it done.

I’d like to warn you that I’m not the best movie maker. I had so many photos I wanted to use and I realize now that I should have had a longer song, or even two songs. But live and learn, as this is only the third YouTube video I’ve ever done. The other two are on my sidebar, where this one will end up after leaving it here for today’s post.

Next up is the video for Mt. Desert Island/Acadia Nat’l. Park. Oy.

Have a beautiful day, all. Until later, my friends . . .

It was like looking through a wonderful box of postcards...Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures with us...My favorites..the painter..the house with the boat and ofcourse the yellow boat....
We started a new fun blog...well, daughter did. I am a contributor...it's all in good fun. And it has a twist...ladies can write in about wacky things their spouses have done and she will post the story....Venting without getting the "better half" mad!! Go take a look...

You did an amazing and very professional looking job. Many years ago my first husband and I would spend summers in Maine along the coast while he painted. He is an artist and your video brought back all the wonderful years I went to Maine. Thinking of Maine even makes me have a few good memories of him. Good Grief ;-)

Such a good eye for capturing the magic of a beautiful place and a sweet dog with that yin-yang face and the mascara eyes. The artist, yellow boat, the sunset with the bird in flight. The schooner in full sail. Nice choice of music. NICE WORK! I just posted a little video of a piece of my trip. I know you get a lot of comments, but I invite you over to check it out.

Darn it - I can't access it due to my backwards internet access, but if I can get to the library this week I"ll check it out.

Speaking of you tube, my son recently filmed me coping with an insect infestation and posted it to You Tube. Did I mention I was in my underwear/nightgown and was so freaked out by the enormous bug that I was highstepping and screaming and looking like a raving lunatic?

It turned out awesome. One day I will sit down and do the same!

It looks pretty good to me - so evocative of your time there. And your prize will be shipped tomorrow - it is hell getting old and forgetful.

Kate, this is amazing! It's so good that I want to run right up to Maine and settle down there in a cozy little cottage and somehow, reincarnate my very dear little beagle, Heidi to be by my side.

I really loved the pictures that you had all about Maine.. Now what song was that and who was singing.. Very relaxing and wonderful. My daughter-in-law is battling cancer and I told her to visit your blog everyday.. It would be very relaxing for her and soothe her nerves. You are very talented.. Thank you~!
