Greetings from Maine

It’s early on a rainy morning as I write this. A storm just went through bringing thunder and lightning which woke me. My husband was already up, shutting the windows and starting the coffee.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that our rental cottage had Wifi – so here are a few photos I’ve taken since arriving to Mount Desert Island on Saturday.

What a treat for us that you have wifi! No waiting for your fabulous photos. :)

A good friend of mine passed away in March and she was a lifelong devotee of Maine. Seeing your pictures of places she talked about with me brings a little of her back to me. Thank you.
