More Pinterest finds

Lately, the only reason I visit Pinterest anymore is to check my recipe board to get ideas for dinner. Sometimes while I’m there, I’ll browse the site a little bit and pin things to my boards if I like what I see.

Sometimes if I’m feeling down or agitated, I’ll go on one of my boards – specifically one I call ‘Beautiful’. Just looking at the images seems to calm me down, to make me feel better. Today I’m sharing some of the pictures I’ve saved.

If you’ve been a long-time reader, you already know how I feel about feathers.

I made this for lunch today. I didn’t have the spinach wrap, so I used plain. I used feta cheese but would have rather used goat cheese. But it was still fabulous. It’s going to be a regular at the casa de George from now on.

And I promised one of my readers that I would never share Pinterest pictures without adding one of my own. I have a board entitled ‘My Own Pics’ and this is one of them.

I am into fonts as well. Have LOTS of them on my computer but there is always room for a few more. Problem is that many of the really gorgeous ones are pricey so I have to opt not to buy them. But it's fun to look.

OH, my... that feather photo is the best I've ever seen of a feather I think.

I only blog and don't use any other sites, but the pics are beautiful. I wouldn't know where to find such a font nor how to put my signature on my pics. Guess I should do other media, but it is too much for my already full brain.

Great finds, Kate.
That wrap not only looks yummy, but healthy too.

Happy Spring to you, and have a great weekend.

Pretty pretty! I love fonts too; I downloaded a bunch of them awhile back that are reminiscent of childhood-scrawl type writing and I just love playing around with them in Word. I even found the one that's used in one of my favorite TV shows which is cool too.

That pansy photo is beautiful! I love taking pictures of flowers. I'd love for you to see some of mine; I'm on Pinterest if you want to follow any of my boards! http://www.pinterest.com/sabrinajs/

I love all those photos. The wedding one is stunning, as is yours. I love macro photos!! The feather photo is beautiful, but I'm the opposite of you - I don't like feathers too much, and I like looking at birds but don't want them anywhere near me. I totally believe the movie "The Birds" caused a mental issue for me. Nice. Do you still have snow? It's going to be 60 today in southern Minnesota, so maybe the 6' drift I have in my back yard will go down a little more. It was about 10'. Have a great and beautiful day, Kate.

That hummous wrap sounds so good - I went to read the recipe and have just ordered one or two things for my on line order. Shall try it.

I made Ree's hummus wrap for my daughter and I yesterday for lunch. I used goat cheese and oh my, oh my...so delish! We have added the recipe to our favs!

Woke up to snow this morning! We haven't had much in the way of snow since January, so seeing it was a surprise!

Thanks for mentioning the hummus wrap. I missed checking Ree's site this week, so I probably would not have stumbled on this winner without your post. I am definitely going to try this one!!!

Love that feather image. As I browsed through your posts, the winter images through your window are so lovely. But today, I am glad for sunshine and new buds forming.
