Happy Easter, my friends

It’s a quiet morning here in Maryland. After the rains from the past couple of days we have a beautiful and clear sunny morning.

The noise from the traffic is virtually non-existent and the only thing I heard while sitting on my little porch with my coffee this morning was the chirping of the birds and the gentle rustling of the newspaper as my husband turned the pages.

This is a photo of an iris that I’d taken last year with my then-new macro lens. I’ll miss those plants this year but I plan on finding more to photograph. I’m also trying out a new brush I created for my copyright watermark.
