UPDATE: TIME'S UP. A WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN!
When I put that little Follower widget on my site, never did I think it would ever get to 500. I hit that milestone today and am celebrating with a giveaway that I hope you’ll all like. I’m offering something a little different this time, however. The winner will receive a 12 x 8 Standout in their choice of one of the photographs below. A Standout is a print that has been mounted to inch-thick gatorfoam. Check the link to get a better picture.
Here are the prints you get to choose from.
Those of you who have been reading this blog have seen this photo before. It’s the one I donated to my school’s auction last spring, and one of my first attempts at applying a texture over one of my photographs. I love the colors, too.
This was taken last fall at historic Hopewell Village in Elverson, PA. It’s the bell tower on the roof of the cast house. (Watermark will not appear in print).
This one may be familiar to some. It was featured on Pioneer Woman’s Photography site as a finalist in her Holiday Bokeh assignment.
Taken on a chilly day in Lancaster County, PA.

HOW TO WIN ~ THE RULES
1. You need to be a follower of this blog.
This is not a blatant attempt to attract more followers. If you want to follow to enter the contest, fine. If you already follow, more power to ya.
2. You need to answer this question:
If you win, which of these photos would you choose?
3. For extra chances, spread the word.

Please return after complying and leave a comment for each.
And most importantly, make sure I can link to you to contact you. I can’t stress this enough. I need to be able to e-mail you or link to your blog. See THIS POST if you’re still not sure.
THE WINNER
The giveaway will continue until this Saturday, March 13 at 6 PM (EST). Winner will be announced some time that evening.
So which do you choose?
Good luck.

Ohh I love giveaways! :) I'm a follower and if I won, I would want The Bell Tower as my print! As always, I love your photos! Thanks for this opportunity!
Your photos are beautiful. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me regarding textures? I am new to PSE and I can't figure out how to add a texture. Can you explain how to add a texture? I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Denise@cottagesisters
Wonderful give-away.
I love the one, Looking Up. The glow gives me a feeling for my dad that is in heaven and I'm always look up.

You are always so generous and this time is no exception! What a lovely way to celebrate 500 followers!
Which picture is a very difficult decision as they are all wonderful. I found myself torn between Heading home and Looking Up.. but then Cardinal is also beautiful ;) My final decision is... um... Looking UP! LOL!
The cardinal has been my favorite since his first appearance. He reminds me of my deceased grandparents, who adored the birds and even hand fed the ones who would dare to come close.
love them all but love the top on most!!! and love you more than all them put together!
oh what a great giveaway...I would love the cardinal photo...especially since I have such problems trying to get photos of the ones that live around here...
Cottage Sisters,
This is a post I did on textures last year.

There's a link to a tutorial. There's more to it than that.

I don't do it this way. It's just another way to do it. Good luck.

And... I facebooked the link!
I just blogged about this giveaway.
Looking Up is my pick!
(on my post, if you want me to remove pic, I will)

And here I thought I was already a follower cause I do follow you so close! I LOVE the cardinal, I have never seen one in real life, they are just magical to me! Come say hi :D
It's a toss up for me between the Cardinal or Looking Up. All are beautiful but I love these two the most.
See, I TOLD you you're popular! I'd take the daisy, definitely the daisy. Now I'll have to think of something for when the 100th person signs up to follow my blog. But first, a lambing contest!
they are all so pretty! I'm a follower, and I would pick "looking up"
For me it would have to be 'Looking Up'. I love the simplicity of the daisy with the richness of the texture, beautiful!!
Have a great weekend.

If I won, I would choose the cardinal and give it to my dad - he's a cardinal fanatic.

but, your photograpy is exceptionally

the cardinal stole my heart.
I've been quietly reading your blogs for awhile. I love your photography. I just became a follower. :)
While the cardinal has been a favorite photo, I would have to choose the daisy. I absolutely love the texture you added.
I am a follower and congrats on so many!!
I would want the Amish print. It would look great in our living room.
I shared on facebook @shana0923
I look forward to checking your blog out each day to see your beautiful photographs. I especially love the bird photos, so I would love to have the cardinal! There are no cardinals on the west coast, and I miss seeing them. I am a relatively new follower and your blog is one of my favorites!
I love em all! If I HAD to choose, it would have to be the lovely cardinal, because they visit the feeder at my window and I love to watch them. I always was told that the appearance of the red bird meant that you were going to have company, and that would be really nice--especially if my house was cleaned up!
Hi Kate
I know distance rules me out but hey I want to join in. It's difficult to make a choice. Will it be the Cardinal or Heading Home?
I love those red cardinals. But today it's Heading Home.
Ms Soup
How wonderful, having any photo of yours would be terrific. It is a hard choice for me between the daisy or the cardinal but Looking Up I will select because it makes me smile. Thanks for the new giveaway! Jeanne
I love the cardinal picture. It's so pretty. :)

I would choose Looking Up but all of them are beautiful. Thanks for the opportunity. Have a great weekend!
I've never been to your site before today, but oh, I LOVE these pictures! Wow. My favorite is Looking Up, with Bell Tower a close second. Stunning.
The Cardinal of course! Two of my favorite things...Cardinals and snow... :) Congrat's on the 500!
Talk about a difficult decision! I want one of each! And hurray for Nurse Nancy!
Fantastic! Definitely "looking up" for me. Love the beautiful colors in that shot!

OOhh, I just LOVE Looking Up. It's beautiful. I am a follower!
I absolutely love the cardinal print. I saw the one that you recently entered into one of Pioneer Woman's contests and fell in love with it. Cardinal would definitely be my choice! Love your photos. I'm slowly learning, and hope to one day take photos like yours.
I'm a new follower thanks to a link on my friend's blog. All the choice's are beautiful, but something about The Bell Tower speaks to me.
Congratulations on 500!
I'm doing a giveaway on my blog today also, to celebrate finishing my novel.
All the photos are incredibly beautiful. But I would choose the cardinal, as that one just stands out for me.
CJ xx
Congratulations on reaching that milestone! I've loved the cardinal image ever since I first laid eyes on it. So gorgeous!
I won't enter this contest though. The odds are against me winning twice, I think. I will eventually buy a copy of it and support you in that way.
In the meantime, I'm thoroughly enjoying my Bell Tower.
Good luck to everyone.
Blessings,
Carolynn

You're amazing! I'm not much of a commenter on blogs, but every once in a while. Your contests get me commenting!

joannereneephotography@gmail.com
I love the cardinal in the snowstorm, the red feathers really stand out on a bleak winter day.
How in the world do I choose? All the pictures are wonderful! I think I'd choose the bell tower, however.
I have been reading your blog for a while and am beginning to shoot some photos of my own. I have a Nikon D40x with the standard lens. I LOVE shooting macro stuff, but am hesitant to buy a new lens. Any suggestions on which lens to purchase next?
Thanks, and many blessings!

I have put your blog link on my blog list of interesting blogs to follow and asked my Facebook friends to check out your wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing.

I like the Bell Tower, and your blog.
T
Wow Kate, you make it so hard to choose one. :) I've narrowed it down to #2 or #4... hmmmm. I think I will go with #4, because it has a horse in it! I can never have enough horsey things around the house, and it would be gorgeous hanging in the guest bedroom.
And congrats on being one of PW's good reads. That would make anyone's week, and you're more than entitled to a lil toot of the horn on that one! Your blog is definitely a good read, and right up there in the same caliber as Pioneer Woman's blog.
Have a good weekend, and enjoy the cozy, warm house in your jammies!
Oh, I am so excited. We are about to invest in a new GOOD camera. I can't wait to start playing! Thanks so much for all the inspiration!
I'd love the cardinal. I have not seen such a vibrant colored bird in our area (yet!).
Thanks! pontessa@gmail.com
Ok, not fair that we have to choose! I would pick the Bell Tower if I had to pick just one. It's hauntingly beautiful!
