The front door to springtime

I’ve  been at a loss for words lately and apologize for that. I’m hoping that these few images taken over the weekend will suffice for now. I have not been a good blogger this year but rest assured, I’m still here, and I’m going to keep on keeping on.

It's spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!  ~Mark Twain

The naked earth is warm with Spring,
And with green grass and bursting trees
Leans to the sun's kiss glorying,
And quivers in the sunny breeze.

Spring had me sitting out back with the girls, enjoying the nice sunshine.

And, I follow it until it's too shady and then I go in.

Pets to George,

The great thing about blogger followers, in my opinion, is that if you are gone for a while, for whatever reason, no one gets mad or anything....they are just happy when you come back.
And we are happy to see you.

I didn't know that Dickens quote - I love it - it is so true. And, by the way, I can almost smell that lilac.

You are a brilliant blogger. Just because it isn't as often as in the past doesn't make it any less brilliant. And we all still love you and clamor after you...can't you hear us? :)

xo Beautiful images, as always.

Enjoyed stopping by and seeing that spring is coming to your world.

Here in Iowa it has been very cold and wet but this weekend it is supposed to be sunny and warm -- finally.

George is still a great looking dog! Enjoy the photographs of spring!

Everyone has their days of quite reflection and solitude. I love the photos, as usual, and all the quotes, especially the one from Charles Dickens. And hello back at ya, George! Be sure to give your mommy lots of love and kisses!

Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers? I'd certainly appreciate
it.

You always find the nicest quotes to make up for your own loss of words. So generous of you to still share those with your pictures; when your own words come back, we are always glad!

LOVE all your beautiful photos and the accompanying quotes! I have just realized that I've been blogging since 2007. I think you have, too. It's a wonder we can think of anything at all to say... I'm not a terribly loquacious person to begin with. lol xoxo
