And I think he really means it.
I mean, look how sincere he is.
My friend, Char at Ramblins posted about these free holiday textures available at Joy St. Claire’s blog. And I had to try them right away. They’re really fun. Thanks for the heads up, Char.
And Joy, these are beautiful.
George has a vet checkup early tomorrow morning, so wish him luck.
Tomorrow night is the faculty holiday party and the dish I’m taking is the same vegetable casserole I made for Thanksgiving. I plan on posting about it because the taste was surprisingly good. Well, surprising because not everyone likes Brussels sprouts and it’s the main ingredient. But when it was served at Thanksgiving, everyone who swore they didn’t like the miniature cabbage treat said it was great. And now I love Brussels sprouts.
Please don’t tell the rutabagas. I can’t have them jealous.
Until tomorrow, my friends . . .

Ah-hem, please tell CG to make haste on posting that sprout recipe, tho, as those little cabbage-heads are a favorite 'round these digs. Even our resident dawg, Isla, loves them. Are you a brussels man yerself?
(very nice work on the texture, CG!)
Oh, George, you a fine fellow. You make me miss my collie! Merry Christmas, George!
Merry Christmas, George!!! And to you, too, Kate. :)
George is beautiful...or should I say 'handsome'. Really, I'm not being prejudiced, I think he is beautiful. And his eyes just melt my heart! If I ever get another puppy, I want one who looks like George, acts like George, and loves like George!
Here's hoping that you are having a wonderful holiday season filled with good friends, good food, good wine, and good everything!!!
Jeanne PS: Is that snow on the ground???
George simply looks majestic!
Don't worry about the rutabagas...the turnips have alread gotten wind of the goings on and have pretty much decided never to forgive you and those darned Brussels sprouts! ;-)
I love George and..
brussels sprouts! Thanks for posting about the free holiday textures. Looks like fun! -Tammy
My husband took this photo in February of this year. I wanted some white in it.
George still looks the same, though.
Thanks, all.

You do a great job of capturing George's personality through your photography.
George is adorable - sending him big kisses & pats all the way from Africa ;)
We're having a bit of rain this weekend and I'm making your famous mushroom soup - it has become a family favorite of ours!
George is such a handsome boy. He looks like he has the softest fur.. so silky like puppy hair. Looking forward to the recipe. I've gone from hate to love for Brussels sprouts over the years.
A very Merry Christmas wish to George. I swear, he is likely one of the most handsome/expressive dogs I have ever seen.
He really means what he says. Such expression.
George really needs to be on the cover of GQ for dogs. So handsome!
George looks like a movie star - great picture.
I never, ever, met a vegetable I didn't like, so I'm looking forward to the brussel sprout casserole recipe.
George should be a model. Happy Holidays right back at ya! Thanks for the link to the textures ;0)

George is so handsome and your photo is beautiful. If you lived closer he could have a play date with my dog Webster. We both like Brussels sprouts. Merry Christmas, Rosemary
I love George's card .. and I love brussel sprouts
it turned out gorgeous!! so glad you enjoyed them.
:) have fun at the party.
Happy holidays to you, George, and your family. I list the happy message from: Cats: Bubbles and Painter, Dogs: Yeller and Lottie,
Horses: Lilly, Star, Hija, Fanny, and Shiney, and wildlife all around Flying Hat Ranch! Oh, yes, their caretakers, Brenda and Jack
Love what you did with George's photo and thanks for the tip on free textures.
Merry Christmas to George and to you all, too. The casserole sounds good but I like Brussels sprouts. I have an intense dislike for English or green peas, but I have a recipe for guacamole that is made with peas and tastes like it was made with avocados. If I had been told before that it was made with peas I wouldn't have ever tried it. Goes to show me that I ought to be a little more adventurous in tasting new things.\
George will do great with his vet check tomorrow. I just know it.
Helen
Oh George, your mommy knows the best way of capturing you to show you off at us. You look wonderful sweetie.
