Simple Woman's Daybook for February 9

simple-woman-daybook-small

For today

Outside my window it's dark as I write this but it's not very cold.

I am thinking about how long it took me today to figure out how to create and upload a video onto YouTube.

I am thankful for finally figuring it all out.

From the kitchen I can hear my husband washing the dishes. It's a sound so dear to my heart.

I am wearing comfy jeans, white long-sleeved t, a white sweater and my sheep slippers.

I am reading nothing at the moment.

I am hoping that I can make a better video than this soon.

I am creating nothing at the moment. But I did learn something today.

I am hearing George rolling around on his back on the rug in the foyer. He always does that after he eats.

Around the house it's pretty quiet.

One of my favorite things is getting an e-mail from one of my sons.

A few plans for the rest of the week are a trip to the lighthouse at sunset. Maybe.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you. Well, it's actually a video. It's my first attempt, however the song is just a little long. It's Lex Land's, "As Much As You Lead". Hope you like it.

You are invited to participate in The Simple Woman's Daybook where you will get to meet many others doing just as you are, sharing little aspects of their day.

Have a wonderful day. See you tomorrow, my friends . . .

To Annie in Australia,
I've posted YouTube entries here before, but never one I've made before. This was a first for me. I made the movie in Windows MovieMaker and then uploaded it to YouTube. And hey, thanks all!

Kate, I think it is terrific! I tried to make one with my macbook around Christmas, with all my snow photos and the song White Christmas, but I gave up because the song was too long for the photos... so I know what you mean. :) I really liked yours, and I can't wait to see more!

I agree with the others - it is a WONERFUL video! First time or 500th time!! I like the song a lot and love the images.

My favorite image is your husband on the red bicycle and also the ones of him and George together.

This is an excellent video!

Take care and thanks for sharing this with us.

Are you kidding? It was worth the four minutes plus except now I'm crying. There are so so many beautiful photos in there. I kept saying remember that one, no that one, and then there were just so many. And the music, too. That's a new one for me. It was all just so gorgeous and I feel an intimate moment of you shared here for us. Thank you.
