I’m back and I’ve missed you

It’s been a long week and I’ve just returned home from a wonderful one spent on the coast of Maine and will tell you all about it soon.

But for now, it’s late as I write this – and it took especially long for us to get home, so I’ll just leave you with a few photos I took this week.

This is actually one of my favorites and was one of the first ones I took upon arriving. I used my new 70-300mm lens.

This is a partial view from the rocks in front of our rental cottage. We stayed outside of Milbridge, closer to Steuben.

I enjoyed some fresh Maine blueberries. That might be a piece of blueberry pie under those berries. It might be under that ice cream, come to think of it.

Oh, Lord.

George got a new hat.

Nah, I’m kidding.

My husband was just playing around. George looks silly, though.

He looks better in this picture.

Here we are, driving down the dirt road to the cottage. George often likes to hang right next to me there when we’re in the car, where he has a good view.

More tomorrow, my friends . . .

I missed you, too!
Well first I was in love with that first picture and then I said, "Oh, I just finished Deliverance Dane" (do/did you like it?) and then I laughed out loud at George in his hat.
So glad you're back, hope you had a truly wonderful time.

YAAAAAAAAY! you're back, CG!!!! Cyberspace is absolutely NOT the same without you, although it is understandable -- absolutely -- the need for vacay with ones own hubs & woofer. Gee, now I kinda sound like a pawn shop dealer. Anyway, you'll catch my drift...

You & George, well, you're both look'in pretty chuffed in that last photo. Bet you both have some pretty good tails/tales to tell.

Looking forward...

I love the photo of the two of you together (you and George, that is). I think George should keep the hat. It suits him.
