Don’t think twice, it’s alright

Hello. Not much to say today other than the fact that the weather is a little more bearable lately, and everything here is quiet and, well - kind of ok. A lot of things have been going on lately, none of which I feel inclined to complain blog about. So how’s about I just share these random shots with you, all of which were taken over the weekend.

The red was so deep.

The pink background was caused by the bricks of the patio in the afternoon sun.

Part of my husband’s collection.

I love these.

And a couple of Instagram shots:

I snapped this last week when I had arrived home from work one day. This is my favorite seat in our living room and it looks like someone wanted to play. I got the hint, George.

He had taken several of his toys out of his box and put them on my seat. At least, that’s the story my husband told me . . .

My husband, a man of few words, pointed to the dashboard Saturday morning as we were driving. I took out my cell phone and caught it. We were listening to 93.3 (WMMR, out of Philadelphia) and it was 9:33 a.m. Please try to control your excitement.

Let Miss Blackie demonstrate.

See? This is how it’s done.

She might be pretty,

but this one’s kinda funny:

And with that, I bid you adieu.

Hope you have a great week, all ~

WMMR, the sound of my adolescence. . . Your photos speak for themselves - you don't really NEED to do more than share them. [plenty of Geo and Miss B, of course]

how very pleasant here!

An enjoyable variety today. You have my email open for complaining any hour.

thanks for the smiles and snorts :) and I would have totally gotten excited about the 933 933 thing.... still make a wish at 11:11 whenever I see it :)

At your request I tried to control my excitement. Then I saw Miss Blackie and the Owl Morph demonstration. I failed to control anything, up to and including laughter.

Your posts always make me smile...they do!!! And for Miss Blackie...she's one kitty I do NOT want to mess with! LOL. Hope you are having a great week!

Brilliant, CG! :-)

I enjoyed the whole lot, but the butterfly on the pink zinnia with that background is outstanding. Wow!!!

I couldn't control my excitement and my son will appreciate it too - he's currently obsessed with the UK car registration system, which makes driving around very tiresome!

What is that top bird? It's a stunning photo. The butterfly reminded me that, with all the rain here this summer, I've seen SO few butterflies.

Know what you mean about not wanting to complain on the blog. I could rant for pages but I'm not sure how interesting it would be. Hope whatever it is isn't getting you down.

Cute...Clayton, when he gets bored but frisky goes to his "basket-o-goodies" and starts digging to find the right one to throw up in the air and squeak to get our attention to play!

It's a male house finch, Em. And that butterfly is actually a moth ~ but it's pretty, isn't it?

Thanks, all ~

I am loving the dog toy pile on your favorite seat!!!...

Our family dog, Sandy.. never really loved my mother. When she scolded him and left for work... she would return home at the end of the day with her shoes taken out of her closet and dropped down the stairs, where the front door opened.

Sometimes I wish I had the kind of blog I could vent on. Then I realise I am not the kind of blogger who vents very effectively (would spend half my life apologising I think!). That instagram effect is groovy. (Still resisting instagram here... just!) Your birds are always magic.

that finch looks like he's had a rough morning ....

Toonman has a 'thing' for the numbers 747 .. every time he sees it on a clock he says 'guess what time it is?' ... sigh

I think the house finch is my favorite bird-until I see other beautiful shots of yours of other birds! They are little cuties, though, aren't they!

I'm sorry you don't feel like blogging about the stuff--but when you do, I'll be reading, an keeping you in prayer, as I always do.

My husband would have never noticed those numbers on the dial! He's too busy looking for dove in the fields right now, and running the car off the road, scaring the wits (what little wit(s) I have left) out of me.

I love that George gives such good hints. Seems he has more sense than all of us put together lately! lol

Hmmmm, 93.3 @ 9:33 is better then by bill at the vegetable market yesterday. It was $6.66. And Miss Blackie...I like her style!

You always make me smile. The photo of George's toys cracked me up when I saw it on instagram.

My cat brought me three mouse heads today, toys are better.

Beautiful images, and I love that George piled all of his toys in "your" spot. He knows who the fun parent is! ;-)

My SueSue brings me her toys and drops them on my feet... She usually starts with the ball and if I don't pick it up and play she will go and get another toy... usually her mean kitty that she like to play tug with... and it looks like it is time to play right now. I took a picture just now and will post it.

Love Miss B and the cat to owl made me snort. Thanks for sharing!

I am sure you had lots of fun taking these photos over the weekend. A new one is close so I wish you fun during this one, too.
