George squared

Oh, my. There sure was some beautiful light in the yard this afternoon. The birds weren’t cooperating so I turned my lens into the sun where George sat. In fact, I shot most of these almost into the sun. Because, mama, that’s where the fun is. (name that song)

He sits.

He stares.

I threw the frisbee toward the southwest and got perfect contrast.

And I got the hearts {here}.

George is so photogenic. Willow is so dark I find it difficult to take decent photos of her. What a sweet boy George is. Big Squishy Hugs.

Blinded By The Light...love that song actually.

Wonderful pix of George. The light is great. Kinda "instagram-ish".

I just got the grumpy rough-edged cranky, tired of gray gray February blues, wiped right out of my thoughts with this beautiful, light and love-filled post about gorgeous George. sigh. thanks for that.

I love your dog too! I wonder what it is about collies that make them so photogenic ... I'm guessing their wonderful disposition. Those are some wonderful shots, Kate! Which lens did you take those with?

I echo everyone else! Totally gorgeous George.
I know how hard it is to get dog photos - they are always moving - except when they are staring or sleeping of course! But those frisbee ones are so good.
My favourite is the closeup with frisbee in mouth and the smile.

By the way I also LOVED the post about the hawk but I was so keen to get over here to George that I didn't write anything :)
love Kate x

Love George! So funny how these border collies have so much of the same expressions. Mine is looking at me right now and wondering what we are going to do next. He wants to make sure I dont do anything without him.
