Tell me all the wordles that I wanna hear

And that’s what I like . . . That’s what I like about you . . .

I’ve seen this before but most recently on Jerry Jones’ blog, Shadowhouse Creations. Wordle is a toy that creates word paintings from text it either finds on your blog or that you provide directly. There are several different color and layout variations and it kept me amused for a while.

Untitled-1

You can save your creations in the gallery at Wordle which is what I did here. Then I did a screen capture of the page and created a jpeg from it using Photoshop.

Wordle takes the words you use more often and makes them stand out. From this wordle, it appears that I say the word ‘just’ quite a bit. Maybe I need to work on that.

Play with it here.

Lots of chores Saturday morning with a grocery run to Amish country to stock up on supplies. Until later, my friends . . .

I looked at that but didn't try it. So you think the more you use a word the bigger is shows up in the mosaic?

You're stocking up! You all getting the next round of snow storms? We have one coming in Monday night and then Wednesday night. Possibly a 2 week winter break. And I'm not sure I like that! Off to wordle!

WV: relous: I relous my comment may not make any sense whatsoever.

What a cool idea! My kids told me today that I can't bold and enlarge random words on my blog anymore, they said it's annoying lol! So maybe I'll just do one of these pictures every so often.

Thanks so much for the info on doing the screen capture for my giveaway. I hope you have a good weekend and get all of your errands done so that you have a little time to relax too!

So if these are words off your blog, what I need to know is...where are the "George" and "hubby" words?

;-)

Sorry I missed seeing you last weekend...hope you had a grand time. Maybe one day we'll catch up. Home to Australia it is for me this weekend!

this is fun, never heard of it!..and how I wish I could go for a grocery run in Amish country.. just once! Actually, I love one of their old wagons for my front yard, I want to place buckets of flowers in it, pumpkins in fall, etc....

If you ever come across an old one, I mean rickity, while you're in that area..that's for sale? Let me know!

I love these, and have created both a t-shirt and a sweatshirt of a Word Cloud from my blog at SnapShirts.

http://www.snapshirts.com/custom.php

They allow you to alter or omit words you don't want in your creation.

That's fun! And I think it is so sweet that "husband" is one of the bigger words in your wordle...

Have fun in Amish country. You're gonna take pictures, right?

What fun! I discovered you can delete a word if you want by right-clicking on it.

That's what I like about you! (this song is now stuck in my head).

I did this once with twitter and a tweet cloud - I talked way too much about Robbie Williams. Embarrassing!

haha Apparently I say the word "chocolate" a lot on my blog. I wouldn't have thought that I said it that much, but it was pretty huge in all those other words. lol

I've played with this a little bit. I didn't have time to type in all the words I wanted to use.....

I adore this Wordle Site. Thanks for the link. It's unique and fresh. When I entered my blog, I was trepidatious to say the least. I can get kinda political. But the excitement and anxiety ended when I saw my wordle cloud. I love it. It's Me. It's all about Me and I love it.

Thanks again.

Now I'm gonna share it with the rest of the bloggers.
