We finally returned to school today and I think that everyone was relieved to be back on a regular schedule. And I do mean everyone. We had a little more snow today and my husband took these photos from the kitchen window.
A female cardinal keeps her eye on the feeder.
And another is watching.
A male cardinal on the trunk of the dogwood tree.
And this, his favorite, which he couldn’t wait to show me when I came home. I thought it was wonderful.
I love playing the question and answer game and finding out more about all of you and realized that I hadn’t posted it last Friday. Earlier this month, I read an answer to one of the questions that I just want to share with you. I hope I don’t embarrass the person who wrote it.
The question was: Where do you go when you need to spend make-me-feel-better money?
And what touched my heart was this answer:
Make-me-feel-better money -
So glad every other person here does this! I like to go to the chocolate shop and pick out the pieces and have them wrapped up beautifully and secret them onto my neighbor's back porch step. She has a crap life. I caught her crying when she saw the first box and it brought such joy to my heart. 6 years later I am still doing it about 3 times a year.
Reading this just made me so glad.

And now, inquiring minds would like to know . . .
- When was the last time someone gave you flowers?
- What do you like in a cup of coffee or tea?
- What do you like on a baked potato?
- What is something you really need to accomplish this weekend?
- What are you most likely to be doing when you’re up in the late, late hours of the night?
See you in the comments, my friends . . .
PS ~ I really enjoy responding to your answers. Make sure your comment has an e-mail attached by following [these instructions]. If you’d like, that is.
