Weekly Pinterest Finds

Probably due to my sporadic posts of late, I have received several e-mails from regular readers asking if I've been ok and I promise you that I have. Really! Please note that I rarely use exclamation points. It's just been a tough year so far, that's all. It's not always going to be this way.

I can't believe I used to post daily. Maybe I'm just in a sort of slump.

I visit Pinterest from time to time, keeping my visits fairly short. There are so many wonderful images and ideas there, and I've found a lot of great recipes. Here are a few things I found recently that I thought would be worth sharing with you.

I have several boards, and this one is from I named Escape. I love the styling in this image and the photo edit is rich with darkly hued colors. The subject matter makes you feel like you're spending a relaxing Sunday morning in the backyard in early Autumn. I want to enjoy the coffee with my toast and homemade jam and watch a manly man chop some wood.

From my Dream Abode board, I'd like to introduce you to my library room in my summer home in Maine. I love everything about this room: the slatted wood ceiling, the light fixture, the bookcases under the windows, the wood floors against the white, and that beautiful rug. All of it.

Best of all, I love the setting.

I could see me in this.

Right now.

Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite new actress. She is a hoot and a half.

From my Springtime board - love these little vases.

Best photobomb.

I love stuff that makes me smile.

Thank you, Mr. Chaplin.

I know this is a tiny one, but I love peach and mint together.
I also love cucumber water. Just slice up cucumbers and let them
soak in the water. Very refreshing.

And because I will always include one of my own images when I post about Pinterest, I give you Miss Blackie waiting at the back door, and looking very ladylike. Taken last summer.

Hope you enjoyed ~

swooning over that first image.. And I'm not one to use the word "swoon"...lol

As for exclamation marks.. whenever someone uses them too frequently, it makes them look alittle... manic, no?

My favorite board on Pinterest is called things that make me smile. Because smiling is the best.

But these are all great, those crazy kittens make me smile, too.
