I loved reading your fill in the blank answers from yesterday’s post. It’s great getting to know you a little better! Before I went to bed last night, I checked my mail and found myself sitting here with a huge grin as I read each one. It felt good to smile. I found the idea over at Donna Boucher’s site, Quiet Life. I began reading Donna’s blog before she became somewhat famous when she began contributing on the Pioneer Woman’s photography blog. You may know her as Miz Boo.
I used my own questions but I give credit where it’s due, so don’t go thinking I made up the idea myself. I don’t think I’m that clever! I’ll try to do it once a week because it’s fun.
Does anyone out there watch Rescue Me? It’s on Tuesday nights on the FX channel. I have DirecTV and that’s channel 248. I love this show. It’s serious, it’s hilarious, it’s down and dirty, and this season Michael J. Fox is guest starring in a role I’d never imagined. Very impressive performance so far. I have always liked him.
This is a scene from the show and is the second performance by Michael J. Fox. He’d met Tommy once before and is living with Tommy’s ex, Janet. He had a bigger role last night but I couldn’t find it yet on YouTube. I laughed out loud at the last thing he utters in this scene.
And before you watch, Rescue Me is a tad bit raunchy. So if you’ve got a delicate constitution, don’t say I didn’t warn you. This scene isn’t too bad, though!
Until tomorrow, my friends . . .

I love MJ Fox. And I am also kicking myself for forgetting to do the fill in the blanks thingie.
I haven't seen this show, but that's hilarious. :)
I watch it too - but usually "On-Demand" since I usually forget to watch it. Love the MJF character - what a great attitude for someone with such a serious disease.
Love Michael J. Fox and all that he does to put his disease on the forefront.
Great clip!

I haven't watched it - I meant to, but never did and now I feel like I missed the boat. I have to watch things like this from the beginning - weird, right?
OHMYGOD, wow. THAT was funny!
MJ Fox will be on Thursday, 5/7 at 10pm on ABC if anyone is interested... he's doing a documentary. I'm sure it will be great!
That was great. I've never seen this show.
LOL
I don't know WHY, but that show only comes on AT MIDNIGHT here. Looks great. Guess I will have to catch it on line. Thanks for the heads up. Thanks also for the chance to participate in your "getting to know you" post. (Tell George "HI")
I love Rescue Me...we watch it all the time and although I do like Michael J Fox it's a bit sad to see him in that part...It's good that he's not letting his illness keep him down but on the other hand it's upsetting to see how his health is failing....
Oooh, I love Michael J Fox and I love raunchy. Sounds like the perfect combination!!

Did you see Denis on The Daily Show? Hysterical. Husband is a big fan ... me, I am asleep when it airs
LOL at the line: "I could have done without the last really..." I've got to start watching this again. :)
Thanks for the warning - I'll have to watch it after I get home, and not here at school!
That looks like a great show! I'm giggling because I am at work, and my student is in the room with me. I played the video and didn't notice your little warning. Luckily, he's an adult student, but I was still a little embarassed; i wouldn't have played it if I'd read the warning first! That'll teach me! And I did your fill in the blank at my own blog the other day. did you want us to do it here as a comment?
I missed is documentary last night. He does have such an awesome outlook on life.
Hey, I enjoyed your fill in the blank thing yesterday. What fun to read everyone's!
I haven't watched the show but have heard quite a bit about it. I have always thought Michael J Fox was a good actor...just didn't get the greatest parts. Funny video...I'll have to tune in!!
I love Rescue Me and the addition of Michael J. Fox. It's great to see him working again, especially in such a feisty role.
