Early Friday morning

It’s early morning and still dark and for some reason, I’m dressed and completely ready to go off to work having done so on auto-pilot because I woke up late and just kept moving. My husband has just told me that I looked more awake in my robe and slippers than I do now in my dress up work clothes.

Thanks, Honey.

So maybe another cup of coffee will wake me up, and maybe writing this quick post will help. I’ve only had these photos set up to write something for the past three days and every time I came here to Live Writer, I could think of nothing to say.

And I love this photo.

I do have a beautiful dog, and he’s a good soul (if not a little neurotic at times). And his coloring against the old oriental rug in the entrance foyer, is just perfect.

And it matches the mums I have in the planters on the little back porch.

Miss Blackie needs to get in the picture. She does this a lot.

And speaking of kitties . . .

It's in the BC code of ethics to be a little neurotic! And ES's established the code so they have some of that too. ;-) But they are so darned cute you forget about all of their quirks...just look at that face! I hope a second cup of joe does the trick for you. Have a wonderful day!

A long time ago, I got this pup from a farm in vermont......carried her on my lap all the way home......she was a border collie, we named her Zoe. She was very neurotic. Chased cars......bit their tires.....had to keep her away from the road......she hung on to my middle daughter's pants leg, while she was riding her Big Wheel.....all of her pants legs were chewed.
She was a lovely dog, but she was nuts sometimes.

Good morning to you! Thanks for the lovely images with my coffee! Mornings suck and you made this one more pleasant!

Your flowers made me sigh too.

Have a wonderful Friday, Kate, and a perfect week-end. Clouds rolling in here and a bit of rain so I'll be indoors.

We have an Aussie and I have many many times called her a lunatic....because she is:-) But she is also incredibly sweet and sensitive and soooo smart.

I think I should buy some mums. I wonder if the chickens would eat them?

George's eyes are so very bright - he looks such a faithful soul. Have a lovely weekend yourself too.

It's that kind of morning, isn't it? The fog outside feels cozy, and it was really hard to get my motor going this morning, too.

What can we say about George ... he is totally precious. I love the contrast of his black and white fur against the rug.

... one more thing. I just clicked on the Cat Bounce link. It reminds me of the old Monty Python animations!!

Sending along wishes for a good Friday and week-end to you, Kate.
Love the photos! George seems very loyal, and the cat seems very natural in her pose.:)

This is the kind of post I often do, so I feel right at home.... :-)

Just taking a break from cleaning up a humongous mess in the laundry room, where the dogs spend the night. Someone did NOT make good use of their last-call potty break!!! :-(

Being a cat, I'm not too fond of most dogs, but that dog has a nice face (I'll bet he would chase me, though).

I'm sometimes called "Blackie," so I especially enjoyed the photo of Miss Blackie.

Two cups of coffee didn't cut it for the lady this morning. She also needs another one.

You DO have a beautiful dog - and a beautiful kitty too! :)

Particularly lovely pictures today. Stunning colours.

I think I can use your gorgeous owls so, when I actually get round to doing it, I'll get in touch and perhaps you might have a bigger file size? They're SO sweet. Thanks so much for looking them out for me. x

Wonderful captures!
Hope this weather stays far away from you ..... but if I understand where you are.... I'm thinking it's coming your way. Stay safe!!

George & Miss Blackie are both gorgeous. My kitty does that a lot too, which has me thinking that I'm much more of a cat person than a dog person. My dog's middle name is Energy. It's exhausting sometimes. Sorry..don't know how I got off on that tangent. Have a happy day!

George!

I checked out your NIKON, and you sure use it well!

Was wondering which NIKON would be
a good next step for this point and shoot princess without going all the way to where you are. Does than make sense? Advice? I'm just overwhelmed by all the choices out there! Thanks, Pal.

Wonderful pictures... but then you know I am partial to George, I just can't say that out loud for fear my four legged baby might hear!

Have a weekend filled with whatever makes you smile!

George really is incredibly handsome. That shot is frameworthy, with a really nice matte and antique frame.

That George is a heartbreaker...

And you totally got me with the cat bounce, hope today had a better start. (I hate waking up late).

I need more coffee too...hope you have a relaxing weekend. And the close mum photo is gorgeous...and George...does he ever take a bad photo? I don't think so...

Kate did you notice how beautifully color-coordinated your post was? George is just plain darlin' and so very handsome! xo

All GOOD kitties sleep a lot. Cause when they are away they look like that last picture.

George is an awesome fellow.
