A night off for me

I am taking the night off from the computer and don’t try to talk me out of it. I am not going to succumb to the pressure! I’ll be here in my living room with my blanket and my sheep slippers, watching the pilot episode of All Creatures Great and Small, from Netflix. And I may just watch some more episodes. Thanks to Firelight for pointing out the BBC series on Netflix.

Afterwards, I am going to read my book. No Photoshop. No blogging. No letting the dog get on his Facebook account. Just quiet.

I do hope you understand.

So I’ll leave you now with these tufted tweeters. I took these photos last February and played with them last night.

And life is sweet.

The windows of my soul I throw
Wide open to the sun.
~John Greenleaf Whittier, My Psalm

Until tomorrow, my friends. It’s always a pleasure when you stop by.

PS~To find him on FB, it's George Young.

Did you think that being the agent of a "star" would be so demanding?

The colors in those photos are awesome. Blogging is a new addiction for me, so here I sit. Tom went to bed almost an hour ago. I'll probably be up another couple of hours. The bed will be nice and warm when I crawl in. Nothing better in -20 weather.

Lovely photos and tell George not to over-due... he'll end up with computer elbow.

I'm glad to read someone isn't addicted.. I get withdrawal symptoms when I switch the computer off.

(Are they really called Tufted Tweeters??? Whether that's their official name or you just made it up I love it either way!)

Wow. That sounds like Heaven to me. What's the secret? I always give in to the voices screaming at me from the computer desk....;)

He must be the one screaming at me!

It was a very nice night, thank you. And to Scriptor Sinex, I have always called them Tufted Tweeters.

The first time in print was in this short story

I just love that whole series...have the series on video but no video player to see them on anymore:(....if I go and buy the DVD's there is sure to be a new invention to make DVD's obsolete...
