Storyboard tutorial

I found a wonderful tutorial today, over on Pioneer Woman’s Photography site. It’s by Miz Booshay (Donna Boucher) and it’s simple to follow [link].

Berries storyboard copy 2

I dug into my old macro files and found some berries to share with you. One of the things I love about summer is walking my dog along the edge of the property, and gathering a handful of berries to eat as I go.

As much as I love fall, I’ll miss so many different things about the summer.

So if you have Photoshop, and want to try something new and fun, here you go!

Thanks to all of my readers for the wonderful comments left on my Central Park series of posts (below). I plan on returning and seeing even more, and I’ll keep you posted.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ And now, some questions for you: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

1. Who is making a positive difference in your life?

2. What was your best meal of the past seven days?

3. What is the ugliest article of clothing in your wardrobe?

4. Who in your family is most likely to know what’s up with everyone else in the family?

5. What bugs you most about your life online?

See you in the comments, my friends . . .

1. It's actually my dog, George. He's always in a good mood, always happy to see me, and always loves a good walk. Without him, I wouldn't walk as much as I do.
2. The meal I had in NYC on Saturday at Momoyo. Sushi yum.
3. These awful black sweatpants. In fact, I'm going upstairs and throwing them out right now.
4. I'd have to say Charlotte.
5. Not being able to visit everyone's blog who comes to visit me.

2. I made a low fat version of Turkey/stuffing meatloaf and a side of lemon herb steamed veggies that was really yummy and made the house smell wonderful.

3. I have a white tank top that Phil calls a wife beater. I love to ear it to sleep in.

4. My sister Melinda is the know it all.

5. Blogs with black backgrounds and white writing play havoc with my brain and can trigger a migraine and I am too weak to mention it anywhere else but here.

I do love your questions!
1. All of my thick n' thin group who never fail to encourage me and listen!
2. Best meal was last Sat. evening at my son's wedding reception - My sister provided smoked pork barbecue, "C" made beef brisket barbecue, Pat made meatballs that were gone in a flash, and Robbin provided wine and champagne! See why I appreciate and love my think n'thin friends!
3. Ugliest piece of clothing is definitely my faded lime green (happy color)t-shirt nightgown that has seen better days--it's just SO comfortable and soft - no scratchy lace. I can't give it up yet!
4.The person in the know is my oldest daughter because everyone trusts her.
5.What bugs me most about my life online is that it is such a time sucker! Problem is that I enjoy reading blogs so much, I can't cook dinner or clean house!lol

1. Who is making a positive difference in your life? Those I have met online recently. They might never know the difference they have made, but they do.

2. What was your best meal of the past seven days? Probably the "Simmer all day spaghetti" I made. the longer the sauce simmers, the deeper the color, the better it tastes. Mmmmm.

3. What is the ugliest article of clothing in your wardrobe? An orange sweater I abhor but can't get rid of for some reason.

4. Who in your family is most likely to know what’s up with everyone else in the family? Probably me.

5. What bugs you most about your life online? The many contradictions and judgments that abound in the blogosphere. Also, the fact that it's hard to take a stand for things you believe in without the chance of being ostracized.

I'm going to say my kids, they are all such fantastic people who I admire for so many different reasons, they are truly more positive in my life then negative, though we have moments where they drive me nuts, they inspire me more then they irritate me.
Probably the dinner I'm having tonight- rammen noodle salad.
Um, I have so much right now in my closet that I hate, but mostly because of my weight.
Hmmm...not really sure who would know most about everyone in the family..
I think the most difficult thing about my online blog life is finding interesting things to write about..I think I'm really quite boring, so finding something that will bring people to my blog is HARD!!

My closest friends inspire me with their grace and mercy, with their generosity, with their genuine concern and honesty, with their laughter, with their tears, and most of all with their unconditional love and support. And Kate inspires me with her talents of photography and narrative! And her sensitive soul!

Chicken kabobs with roasted summer squash and roasted green beans that I made myself!

I recently cleaned out my closet and got rid of my ugly clothes!

My mother...only because she is nosey, intrusive and ... (better stop there).

I, too, spend way too much time online...to the point that it could be considered OCD!!! Well, almost...not quite.

Great questions, Kate, and great answers too!
