George, you are beautiful!

Good night George! Have a lovely day chasing frisbees and sticks tomorrow!

Oh, in the bed, Mental P! God forbid! I just don't like it when dogs jump all over the furniture. That's why George gets down when I come in the room.

His dad lets him on the furniture all day long. It's why we have blankets covering the couches.

Cherry Chapstick. He's grown accustomed to its taste . . .

Love you, George. How do you keep from eating the chapstick? You look very cozy on the couch.

OK I love George, but that green cabinetry in behind George I might love even more. (Don't tell George.)

Dad took some mighty good photos, George. You are getting more handsome every day. :)

George has a great vocabulary for his age. And species.

He's a doll - I just want to rub his belly and scratch his head.

Cute! I interviewed my dog for a post earlier in the week. Your hubby is doing a darn good job with your camera.

George looks like that sofa was made for him....Don't make him get down when you come in the room Mom.....

Ha, Sue! I don't even have to say anything. He just gets down! I'm not that bad.

George is one gorgeous dog. Around here, I don't let my babies on the couch, but I will invite them onto the bed (covers pulled up) if my Hunny's not in bed with me. Heh.

He is such a cutie :) I always said that when I got my own dogs they would NOT be allowed on the furniture...Then I got my own dogs and that concept went out the window real fast! I always say it's my husband's fault :)

I'm with you about the animals on the furniture. Right now I don't have any animals in the house but when we had our cat and dog the kids would sneak and let them sleep on their beds. When hubby retires he wants another little dog and I know that dog will be spoiled to death. Oh dear!

George has Dad wrapped around his paw! My dog waits until we are sleeping then gets on the furniture, I can tell by the fur he leaves behind but he's always up before us so I never actually catch him. He's a sneaky guy!

Our dog Hawk says "I want to play with George !". Our cat Miss Marple says " only cats are allowed on the furniture, George should get off the couch". George, your Dad takes great pictures of you, you are a handsomely pretty boy!

Our canine children reign supreme in our house. They are allowed on furniture but generally choose to curl up on the floor. Leo is my sidekick. At 4 pounds he rarely leaves my side and must touch me at all times. All three pups sleep in bed with us. They keep me company when Doughboy is away and warm in the cool months. They're small and don't take up much room.

Note from Kady the Wonder Dog: If you lived with us, Georgie, my mom would let you sleep anywhere you want. And I would be right next to you :)

Good Pictures! Trixie loves to get on my couch around noon, when the sun is directly on couch! Beautiful dog!

Oh George! you're so good looking

How did you manage to get the light so perfect for that last shot, it's lovely

Country Girl said...

Dianne,
My husband took all the pics. I'm at work when the light is like this. I did hit boost just wee bit in Photoshop but other than that, this is how the original photo looked.
WomanInWindow,
This is the room we're using as our living room. It's the library and these shelves are built-in. There's also a massive fireplace which we're not using because it's not fit to use. But I adore these bookshelves. Thanks all!

My Sadie only jumps up on our laps when we are on the couch, mostly when she is scared. But sometimes I can get her to suggle with me for a few brief moments. Her ADHD prevents too much laying around :) Too many balls so little time.

I also can never get her to look at me when I take her picture. She always looks away.
