Conundrum

I took this photo while visiting my son in New York last month. Things don't look good, and it's not just everything that's going on in the country today.

I am just worried. And it's just been one of those days.

Until tomorrow, my friends . . .

I am too. And if I try hard enough, that cloud looks like the devil dancing. It's good I don't believe in those kinds of things.

Your photo is a beautiful reminder to cherish these United States of ours.

Beautiful shot. At least.

Oh dear...you have me really worried. It wasn't bad enough with all the news today (stock market, loan bailout). But I get the sense that all is not well in the country. These are frightening times for sure.

Your photo is lovely, Kate. It's a great reminder of how fortunate we Americans are - even in tough economic times. It's important to get out and VOTE!

I tried to leave a comment a few minutes ago and everything froze up. Go figure!
As for the current situation...I cannot deny the fact that my mind has wandered over to the "was this caused by some terrorist plot?" but sadly, I think it all was contrived upon greed. I think one analyst but this situation in terms that a dummy like me could understand. She stated ..."it's like you are waging a million dollar bet, but you only have a thousand dollars to cover if you lose...". I got that.
Wall Street...greedy little b#$%@#$^.

These are worrisome days. A good time to sit and stroke George's head a bit.

Do you find that you are a worrier? I am not. My mother and brother are worriers and don't sleep much. My father and I can sleep at the drop of....zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Maybe, Maybelline. But not really. Just got a lot on my mind.

I try to not worry too very much about all these things. I guess chasing 3 boys around has my mind other places. What will be will be. Curl up with George and hubby, ah, maybe that will help ease things.

That is a curious little cloud..

I'm a worrier by nature.. so I can sort of relate.

It is a beautiful photo and hopefully can represent the greatness of our country through thick and thin. I am counting on "this too shall pass".

Country girl - these are worrying times here in the UK too. We all just have to keep ploughing on.

Oh, gosh, Kate, I hope everything is okay in your world.

Things can have a domino effect, can't they?

Keep us posted.

It doesn't look good does it. What are we supposed to do. People seem to be panicking a lot recently but I'd like to stay optimistic.

On your previous post, gorgeous pictures of George. You had to have him of course!

It's hard not to worry.
We had to have a big talk with my oldest kids yesterday about some of their friends and family that are about to go through some tough times. (again not all financial) We also had a hard time convincing them that THEY didn't have to be scared of the same things.
We just keep saying lots of prayers. I'll send some your way too. Hope things make you feel better soon.
*hugs*
