Counting sheep

By the time I took the walk with George tonight, the light was waning and this was about the only shot that came out at least halfway decent.
The sheep look almost pink because it was another pink sunset tonight. Just beautiful with a chill in the air. I'm looking forward to lighting our first fire in the fireplace. It's been almost 15 years since we've been able to enjoy the comfort of a wood fire, and it was one of the things we considered important when we were looking for a new job for my husband and a home.
I'd like to tell those of you who are into Photoshop that Totally Rad has finally come out with the new TRA The Revenge free set. If you're interested, click here to download. You get a total of 8 pre-set actions at no cost to load into your Photoshop program.
Just wanted you to know that I never did pick up a pair of plastic gloves for the dishes. I sort of like things the way they are. It's got nothing to do with being lazy, but I think my husband is getting kinda used to doing the dishes while my sliced up finger heals. It's doing quite well, by the way, so no worries there.
If you'd like to view a giant mushroom, head on over to my other site. I just have a thing for them lately . . .
Until tomorrow, my friends.

There's something so peaceful and friendly about sheep, isn't there?

What a gorgeous picture. I love the pink sheep. :-)

I'm looking forward to lighting my first fireplace of the year too. The only problem is, we keep having the endless summer. It was 80 degrees here in Vancouver today.

*sigh*

I got that email from Totally Rad, too. I'm still trying to learn how to use ANY actions. Aaaarrrgh! But I guess I'll grab them anyway...

LOVE this pink sheep picture -- makes me feel all warm and fuzzy... ;)

I agree with Noble Pig...pink sheep would be so awesome...but then again sheep are my favorite animals on this earth next to my kitty Thomas Jefferson.

Ah, wood fires. I was hungry for them so I started one this morning, using last night's frost as an excuse. Now I'm sitting at my computer sweating buckets. Not so attractive so I suppose it's good no one can see me. I think I'll open the doors to cool off.

Your sheep do look pink! I imagine that's what they are so bewildered about.

...Oh I am so with you on that girl, I love the smell of wood smoke and the way it hangs in the evening autumn air...nothing like it! :o)

...Glad to hear that your healing fine. And also glad to hear that dear hubby is still at it with the dishes...lol... My husband is good about doing stuff like that too but like I always say, "I wouldn't sell him for a million bucks and wouldn't pay a nickel for another one just like him either"...lol... :oD

...Have a great day Kate!

...Many blessings... :o)

...Oops - that's supposed to be "you're" or "you are", not "your". Stuff like that drives me nuts, don't ask me why... :o)

Pink sheep, I like it! I could get a cute sweater out of that. Lol. Our last house had a wood burning fireplace and I miss it. Our new house has two fireplaces, but they are gas, not quite the same thing, especially if the power goes out. Enjoy your first glass of wine in front of the fireplace!
*hugs*

I love pink sheep! What breed are they? Round here in The Yorkshire Dales, UK, we have Swaledale sheep. Yours look much sturdier.

We too are looking forward to the coziness of wood fires. I love the feeling fall and winter give us. I am feeling like the days are becoming so much shorter....less light for picture taking after working all day.

Oh and I love pink sheep.

Not a big fan of the color pink, but it looks pretty good on sheep. I did see pink rubber gloves in the store recently - maybe you should consider those?
